What a FUN LAUNCH of this new website. YUM! So many new friends on day one. It makes me so happy.
I thought it best to jump on out of the gate with a new blog post–I don’t want another 6 months to go by before I get my courage up so here is my first Simple Hospitality easy recipe.
I could drink this by the gallon. It came from a lunch date with a lifelong friend at Nordstrom’s’ Bistro in Tampa–you know “back in the days” when we could meet for a lunch date :)) The Bistro is closed right now so all the more reason I am happy to have asked for this recipe and be able to share it with you!
I THINK it is called a Cucumber Spritzer but regardless of the name–prepare to enjoy! It is healthy; refreshing; low cal; and amazing.
Here you go:
1 oz cucumber juice (I use 2 large cucumbers peeled, chopped up a bit and dropped into my blender)
1 oz lime juice (get at Publix)
1 oz Simple Syrup (12/ sugar; 1/2 hot water)
5 Fresh Basil leaves (my garden plant is amazing)
Fill your desired container with club soda or sugar free (or not) Ginger Ale
All done–YUM.
Drink up.
